Overview
On blood test, leucocytosis (up to 10-12x109/L), decrease or absence of eosinophils, shift of leucocyte formula to the left, and increased ESR (up to 35-40 mm/hr) may be present. Presence of bacteria in urine and increased urinary leucocyte counts may be observed on urinalysis.
