Small cell carcinoma of the lung screening

Patients who smoke or quit smoking less than 15 years ago, who are between the ages of 30 and 75-80 years-old and patients with a history of 20 to 30 pack-years should receive screening with Low Dose Computer Tomography (LDCT), according to the recommendations from the American Cancer Society (ACS), the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) and the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST).
