History and symptoms

Most people who are infected with enterovirus 68 (EV-D68) do not get sick, or they only have mild illness. Symptoms of mild illness may include:

• Fever
• Runny nose
• Sneezing
• Cough
• Skin rash
• Malaise
• Myalgia
