Overview

The diagnosis of cyclosporiasis is mainly clinical relying on the history and symptoms. There are no specific physical findings. Infection with cyclospora might cause non specific signs of dehydration, fatigue and fever.

Physical Examination

Vitals

Temperature

• Low grade fever

Pulse

• Tachycardia

Blood Pressure

• Hypotension may be present in case of severe dehydration

Skin

• Pallor
• Decreased skin turgor

Abdomen

• Abdominal distention
• Abdominal tenderness
