Overview
Chest radiography (CXR) is the initial imaging modality used in the detection of suspected pulmonary metastasis. It normally appears as peripheral, rounded nodules of variable size, scattered throughout both lungs. Atypical features include consolidation, cavitation, calcification, haemorrhage and secondary pneumothorax.
