Symptoms

Most lesions are asymptomatic and may be discovered incidentally when the region is imaged for other reasons. Larger lesions (typically more than 4 cm in size) can present with with symptoms of acute retroperitoneal haemorrhage such as:

• Abdominal pain
• Haematuria
• Palpable abdominal mass
