MRI scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of ganglioneuroma. Findings on MRI scan suggestive of ganglioneuroma include:

MRI Component	Features
T1​	Homogeneously low or intermediate signal
T1 C+ (Gd)	Variable enhancement (none to heterogeneous)
T2	Heterogeneously intermediate or high signal
ADC	ADC values tend to be higher with respect to neuroblastoma
