MRI may be performed to detect metastases of carcinoma of the penis to brain, spinal cord, and nearby organs and tissues.

MRI

MRI is used to:

• Find out the extent of the penile cancer
• See if the cancer has spread to the brain or spinal cord
• See if the cancer has spread to nearby organs and tissues
