Bone scan in Ewing sarcoma is used to observe abnormal areas of bone and metastasis.[1]

A bone scan uses bone-seeking radioactive materials (radiopharmaceuticals) and a computer to create a picture of the bones. Bone scan in Ewing sarcoma is used to:[1]
- Observe abnormal areas of bone.
- Many bone tumors will light up on a bone scan.
