  • Tenderness, erythema, and a palpable hard lump at submandibular gland region
  • Pus discharging from the duct (infection)
  • radiopaque mass in duct of submandibular gland on Xray
  • Filling defect within the duct on sialographygland
  • Enlarged and hyperdense gland associated with calcification on CT
