  • 10-35 yo males
  • Deep, constant, aching, localized bone pain
  • Pain worse at night
  • Pain relieved by aspirin
  • Restricted range of motion


  • No specific lab findings


  • Well circumscribed lucent cortical lesion located at the femur
  • Less than 2 cm in diameter with cortical thickening
  • Surrounded by reactive sclerosis
  • Ovoid central region of mineralisation
