- Allergic conjunctivitis may be classified into several subtypes base on pathophysiology and severity of symptoms including: Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, Perennial allergic conjunctivitis, Vernal keratoconjunctivitis, Atopic keratoconjunctivitis, and Giant papillary conjunctivitis
