23, MBBS Graduate, Indian, global citizen! Medicine to me is what water is to fish! Growing up as one of the twin boys in a diligent Indian doctor family a general physician and an Obstetrician, the unearthly timings I waded through even from a young age by virtue of my parents and their tireless concern for fellow humans who are negotiating some form of pain or infirmity and also the single most miraculous thing in life - bringing life into this world! I found myself effortlessly being drawn to the doctors white armour of sorts! The doctor's apron (white coat)! To me it occurred on a mid day summer afternoon as I was watching my favorite show "Beakman's world" I found myself enchanted with the legend of the apothecary and the polymaths and Roëntgen and Freuid and of course Dr. Ben Carson, I told myself then, to be able to communicate and listen and correlate with science your health concerns of frailty and infirmity, was to make better the world n leaving it better than how it was found! I just knew this is what I wanted to end up doing! To be able to fix the edifice of livelihood, your health! A rather empowering contribution to the lives of many a people! I thought! Sooner than I knew it! As I entered my house surgency! I was enshrouded with phantasmagoria as I met an interventional radiologist! I told myself, hes got xray vision and he's a surgeon when necessary! That's some stupendous life saving versatility right there! I knew that moment, this is what I'm here for! As I chanted the hippocratic oath! I swore that I'd leave the map as explored and unraveled as I can than I found it! The unexplored domain of imaging! Soo revealing and yet soo in a light of ever replenishing grey! As the disease grows, so does your sight! My prerogative is to see and I'm a seer! I'm an aspiring radiologist :)
