I am a physician and life science researcher who is preparing for board exams. I am passionate about the medical learning, teaching and research with ultimate goal of improving patient health care. After finishing medical school with M.B.B.S. degree, I worked in urban and rural community hospitals for two years in India. I migrated to USA to pursue a PhD in Biological Science. I studied the development of cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and skeletal muscle metabolism system in animal models at systemic, tissue and at sub-cellular (mitochondrial) levels. I was very fortunate to present my research studies at various international conferences and won multiple presentation awards. In the graduate school, beside my deep interest in research, I found true passion for teaching and truly appreciated the complete process of learning-teaching-knowledge assimilation. My insatiable appetite for keep learning, continuing research and clinical background motivated me to peruse MD degree in USA with an intuition to be a clinical teacher and researcher at well-known medical university.
