Myocardial infarction/Angina pectoris | EKG with ST elevation or depression. Crushing chest pain. Cardiac enzymes elevated in MI |
Hyperventilation syndrome | Rapid breathing. circum oral pallor,responds to rebreathing in paper bag |
Hypoglycemia | polyuria,polydipsia,polyphagia in addition to low fasting blood sugars usually, below 50mg/dl |
Dermatologic | No underlying causes |
Hyperthyroidism | Elevated T3 and T4 |
Carcinoid | Elevated BP along with anxiety symptoms. Increased levels of 5-Hydroxyindole acetic acid |
