Overview

Common chest x-ray findings in Legionnaires' disease include consolidation and pleural effusion. There are usually no chest x-ray findings in Pontiac fever.

Chest X Ray

Chest X-ray findings in Legionnaires' disease include:

• Consolidation
• Pleural effusion
• Cavitation - in immunosuppressed patients
• Bullous emphysema
• Interstitial infiltrates
