Stomach cancer chest x ray
A preoperative chest radiograph is recommended in patients with gastric cancer. However, the sensitivity for metastases is limited, and a chest CT scan is preferred (particularly for patients with a proximal gastric cancer) if the detection of intrathoracic disease would alter the treatment plan.
