Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Conservative management should be first choice if emergency revascularization is not necessary.[1] PCI is indicated in the presence of ongoing myocardial ischemia or myocardial infarction.[2] Drug eluting stents (DES) are routinely used in the management of SCAD. However, their impact on long-term outcomes has not been assessed yet in clinical studies.
