History and Symptoms
The symptoms of GISTs are highly variable and depends upon the tumor size and location.Moajority of the GISTs are asymptomatic.

- Gastrointestinal hemorrhage presenting with black stools or hematemesis
- Vague abdominal pain or discomfort
- abdominal fullness or early satiety
- Tumor rupture with intra-abdominal hemorrhage is uncommon, but when it occurs, it frequently requires emergent surgical intervention.
