History and Symptoms

The most common symptoms of sialadenosis include swelling and pain in the involved gland. Eating can exacerbate the pain. Sometimes, sialadenosis can present with as painless swelling.

Pstients may have episodic or persistent swelling. If sialadenitis oocurs, more pain and erythema can happen.
