The complications of the HSP are as follows:
- Renal involvement- Proteinuria, End Stage Renal Disease in 1% of patients.
- Other complications
- Myocardial infarction
- Pulmonary hemorrhage
- Pleural effusion
- Intussusception of both small and large intestines
- Orchitis
- GI bleeding
- Bowel infarction
- Seizures
- Neuropathies.
