Overview
There is no significant role for secondary prevention of autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
Secondary Prevention
There is no role for secondary prevention of autoimmune hemolytic anemia. However, in patients at risk for hemolytic anemia who are suspected of having active hemolysis, screening for active hemolysis can be done via assessment of complete blood count (CBC), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), total bilirubin, and reticulocyte count.[1]
