Electrocardiogram
An ECG may be helpful in the diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy. Findings on an ECG suggestive of of peripheral neuropathy include:
- Prolongation or shortening of the QRS interval
- Increased QT and QT dispersion intervals
- Increased or decreased heart rate
- Cardiac arrhythmia
