CT scan is helpful in localization of paraganglioma.

CT Scan Findings in Paraganglioma

• Computed tomography (CT) imaging of the abdomen and pelvis (at least through the level of the aortic bifurcation) is a commonly used method for localization.
• CT and MRI have similar sensitivities (90%–100%) and specificities (70%–80%); however, CT imaging provides superior anatomic detail compared with MRI.
