Surgical intervention is not recommended for the management of tortion of scrotal appendage.Surgery is not the first-line treatment option for patients with hydrocele. Surgery is usually reserved for patients with large amount of fluid and high level of discomfort.Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for scrotal tortion and scrotal cancer.
