Overview
Common causes of multiple pulmonary nodules include pulmonary neoplasms and tumor metastasis from outside of the lungs. These causes are life-threatening and should be promptly differentiated from benign neoplasms and non-fatal infectious causes. Additional life threatening causes that present with multiple pulmonary nodules include cardio-pulmonary conditions, such as aneurysm and infarction. Additional causes include granulomas.
