Overview

MRI can be helpful in diagnosing infiltrative processes, including sarcoidosis, hemochromatosis, and amyloidosis.

  • Cardiac MRI and computed tomography are particularly helpful in the diagnosis of infiltrative disorders (such as sarcoidosis and amyloidosis) that present with AV block.
