Ultrasonography
- Ultrasonography is done for routine investigation of biliary disease.
- It can reveal gallstones and cholecystitis.
- It can also reveal eveidence of Mirizzi’s syndrome such as atrophic gallbladder, ectatic common hepatic duct with normal distal common bile duct, or edematous gallbladder. [1]
