Overview

There are no diagnostic laboratory findings associated with back pain. However, to investigate the underlying cause of back pain it is crucial to look for following, omplete blood count (CBC), erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein, HLA-B27, antinuclear antibody (ANA), rheumatoid factor, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), uric acid.
