Electrocardiogram

An ECG in patients presenting with seizure is very crucial to prevent sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP). Important signs to look for are:

• ST-depression
• T-wave inversion
• Heart block
• Long QT interval
• Brugada Syndrome
