Chest X ray findings in ventricular septal defect -

• Moderate sized shunt - It causes sign of left ventricular dilatation and pulmonary plethora
• Large sized shunt, Eisenmenger syndrome - pulmonary hypertension (enlarged central pulmonary arteries and pruning of peripheral pulmonary arteries). Also, calcification of pulmonary artery may be seen.
