Overview
Recently, the preferred form of surgical treatment for Ewing's sarcoma has changed. In the past, the primary technique for eliminating Ewing's sarcoma was to amputate the affected limb. Limb salvage has nearly replaced amputation and this has been done without compromise to the patients long term survival rates.
