Overview
During the diagnostic process, there are a few tests that may be conducted but are not always necessary. These tests include a CT scan, MRI, and lumbar puncture. These tests are more likely to be indicated if the patient develops neurological symptoms such as confusion, coma, delirium, meningismus, etc. Otherwise, a diagnosis of Rocky Mountain spotted fever can be found using a variety of laboratory tests.
