A condition that mimics Bartter's syndrome which is due instead to furosemide treatment.
Diagnosis
Laboratory Findings
The disorder is characterized by hypokalemic-hypochloremic alkalosis, hyperactivity of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system with increased aldosterone, normotension, pressor inactivity of angiotensin II, increased urinary PGE2, and ANP.
