4-Methylmethcathinone is a stimulant drug related to methcathinone. 'Mephedrone' is one street name for this new analogue designer drug similar in
- effects to 'methylone' with more pronounced euphoria.
- effects similar to MDMA with less intesnse stimulation and more dopamine centered activity.
It has been reported to be sold on the illicit market as a controlled substance analogue, but little is known about its pharmacology or toxicology as yet.[1]
