Overview

Etazolate is a pyrazolopyridine derivative drug,^[1] which acts as an anxiolytic.^[2]

It has several mechanisms of action, acting as an adenosine antagonist,^[3] a subtype-selective GABA_A receptor partial agonist,^[4] and a phosphodiesterase inhibitor selective for the PDE4 subtype.^[5]
