Physical Examination
Appearance
- The patient may appear pale (because of anemia) and emaciated (because of weight loss).
Skin
Head
Abdomen
- Discomfort on palpation
- Hepatomegaly
- Absent bowel sounds indicate intestinal obstruction
- Per-rectal exam may reveal bleeding and mass per rectum
