Overview
The Tronado Machine is a device which employs ultra high frequency or microwave radiation as a treatment for cancer. A man named Tronado designed the machine in the 1970s.
The device has been promoted by Dr John Holt of the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, Western Australia. However, tests conducted on behalf of the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia have concluded that UHF Radiowave therapy produces no therapeutic benefit when used in conjunction with conventional cancer treatment.
Political motivation is suspected in this finding and in a subsequent government report into the Microwave treatment practiced by Dr Holt. Neither report analyzed the statistics obtained from Dr Holts patient files which cover a thirty year period.
