Other Diagnostic Studies

Colonoscopy

• Greater than 50 years old
• Present with constipation with no apparent cause
• Presence of blood in the stool

Sigmoidscopy

• Sigmoidoscopy for all other patients

Stool Examination

• To rule out ova and parasites, a stool examination should be considered
