Trichinosis is infection with the roundworm Trichinella spiralis.

What are the symptoms of Trichinosis?

• Abdominal discomfort
• Cramping
• Diarrhea
• Facial swelling around the eyes
• Fever
• Muscle pain (especially muscle pain with breathing, chewing, or using large muscles)
• Muscle weakness
