History and Symptoms

Infectious Parotitis

• Abnormal tastes, foul tastes
• Decreased ability to open the mouth
• Dry mouth
• Fever
• Mouth or facial pain, especially when eating
• Redness over the side of the face
• Swelling of the face (particularly in front of the ears)
