Compatibility, Reconstitution, and Stability

When concomitant therapy with aminoglycosides is indicated, ampicillin/sulbactam and aminoglycosides should be reconstituted and administered separately, due to the in vitro inactivation of aminoglycosides by any of the aminopenicillins.[1]
