Retired journalist. As a journalist I wrote and covered varied beats including governmental affairs, military affairs, medical stories, police beat and I started out writing obituaries for our local newspaper.

In college I studied biology and have almost enough units to earn a minor in biology.

Was selected as an Outstanding Science student at our local community college. Received a Dorland's Medical Dictionary from our local medical society for that honor.

I'm married and have two special needs children. I also have my own medical problems including idiopathic leukopenia/neutropenia.
