History

In 90% of the cases, patients presented with ordinary smallpox, which commonly progresses according to the following periods:

• Incubation
• Prodrome
• Early rash
• Postular rash
• Pustules and scabs
• Resolving scabs
• Scabs resolved

Common Symptoms

• Malaise
• Nausea
• Fever
• Backache
• Headache
• Delirium
• Diarrhea
• Fatigue
• Fever
• Rash:

• Initially in the mouth, that evolves into sores
• Followed by skin rash

• Pharyngitis
