Overview

Diagnostic study of choice for an abdominal aortic aneurysm is ultrasound, which has near 100% sensitivity and 91% specificity. due to its high sensitivity, it is also performed as a screening test especially in patients who are considered at risk for an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
