Overview
Ultrasonography can reveal worms in the biliary tree, pancreatic duct and bowel loops.[1][2]
Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is useful in the identification of worms in the pancreaticobiliary tract and bowel loops.[1][2] In regions where ascariasis is endemic, demonstration of intra biliary parallel lines (inner tube sign) on ultrasonography is diagnostic for biliary ascariasis.[3]
