Overview
Blind loop syndrome is a medical condition that occurs when the intestine is obstructed, slowing or stopping the progress of digested food, and thus facilitating the growth of bacteria to the point that problems in nutrient absorption occur.
The most common symptoms of blind loop syndrome include- diarrhoea, loss of appetite, loss of weight, malnutrition.

Common symptoms of blind loop syndrome include:
- diarrhoea
- loss of appetite
- unintentional weight loss
- malnutrition
- edema
- loose stools
- Nausea
- fatty stools
- pain and cramping in the abdomen
- Bloating
- fatigue and weakness
