Physical examination of patients with bronchogenic cyst is usually normal. On rare occasions, the following signs can be seen

- wheezing[4]
- Stridor[5]
- Hemoptysis[2]
- Dyspnea[6][5]
- Tracheal deviation[7]
- Fluid-thrill[8]
- Anorexia and/or weight loss[9]
- Fever[2]
- Asthenia[10][11][12]
- Foot drop[13]
- Atrophy[12]
- Heart murmur[14][15]
- Tenderness[11]
- Cutanous pigmentation[11]
- Negative knee and ankle reflexes[11]
