Claire House Children's Hospice is a children's hospice in England. The hospice provides care to children up to the age of 18 with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions. Services include specialist respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement care. The hospice is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of its patients.[1]

The hospice, which is located in Bebington on the Wirral, relies largely on goodwill to pay the £2 million annually needed to keep the hospice doors open.[2]

The hospice has many celebrity supporters. The most recognisable of these is Wayne Rooney and his girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin[citation needed]. Coleen has a sister who uses Claire House and she has been on Trevor McDonald to try to highlight the plight of children's hospices.[verification needed]

Most recently at Claire House a new Teenage Annex has been opened to provide respect, dignity, privacy and social interaction for all the people who use it.
