Climatotherapy - type of treatment for various types of diseases where a patient is relocated to areas around the world where climate is more favorable for recovery. It particularly effective in the treatment of psoriasis and other skin related disorders. One study found that after 4 weeks of treatment, the overall Psoriasis Area and Severity Index score decreased by 81.5% ScienceDirect Journal. Although climatotherapy has been clinically demonstrated as viable, research in this area of medicine is still limited.
